Dry Cleaners-brand and upgrade your image

Recently The Minnesota Chemical Company was honored to host Keisuke Uchikoshi, VP Sales, Sankosha, at our offices and on customer plant visits.  Sankosha manufactures the finest in dry cleaning and shirt laundry presses in Japan.  The USA offices have grown dramatically in the past 18 years moving four times to larger facilities.

Keisuke travels the world for Sankosha and works hard to help cleaners.  Keisuke has studied cleaners internationally and feels that the most successful cleaners are those that do the following:

  • They have an identifiable brand and image - it is shown in signage, web site and in logo packaging such as custom poly.
  • They make a special effort to appeal to women.  Women bring in most garments so they are the customers.
  • Women's garments are less than 50% of the garment processed in a typical plant so there are growth opportunities by showing women that more of their garments can be processed better in the cleaners than at home.
  • Professional looking dry cleaning plants have clean and clear windows, interesting lobbies and attendants who look fashionable
